Welcome! The Rockville Makerspace and Tool Library empowers the people of Montgomery County, Maryland and surrounding areas to turn their ideas into reality by applying a wide range of new and old technologies. We provide affordable access to tools, training, workspace, and a growing community of creative and knowledgeable makers to help you with your projects. Doing it yourself is better with friends!

How it works
We run on a membership model
Nonmembers can:
Take a tour and learn about becoming members
Donate tools or seeds
Borrow seeds from our seed library
Attend many of our classes and workshops
Join our Slack group and ask questions and get help with projects
Volunteer (if 16 or older)
Members can:
Use the makerspace during member hours to work on projects
Use equipment including 3D printers, laser cutters, sewing machines, and woodworking tools
Borrow tools from the tool library (if they live in Montgomery County)
Bring a nonmember guest
